Who are we?
We are a spiritualist church and charity (SC005881), affiliated to the Spiritualists' National Union (SNU).
What is Spiritualism?
Spiritualism is an officially recognised religion with its own churches and ministers, who possess the same rights and privileges as other religions. It has no fixed creed or dogma, but embodies the main ideas of all religions - in particular, that there is life after death. The difference between Spiritualism and other religions is the ability, through Mediumship, to offer evidence, which for some people is enough proof to them that their loved-one has survived physical death.
The philosophy of Spiritualism is based on seven fundamental principles:
1. The Fatherhood of God. 2. The Brotherhood of Man. 3. The Communion of Spirits and the Ministry of Angels. 4. The Continuous Existence of the Human Soul. 5. Personal Responsibility. 6. Compensation and Retribution Hereafter for all the Good and Evil Deeds done on Earth. 7. Eternal Progress open to every Human Soul.
What is Spiritual Healing?
Healing is practiced at the Glasgow Association of Spiritualists by fully-qualified and licensed SNU healers. Although they cannot guarantee a complete cure, they can alleviate suffering and ease a passing.
CHURCH PROGRAMME Awareness Group These classes take place on a Friday evening and provide an introduction to your own spiritual awareness. They are taken by the visiting Medium, and usually include a meditation. Classes start at 7.30pm, but we would ask that you get there for 7pm. Doors close at 7.25pm. Entry fee: £5 (including tea/coffee).
Divine Service This takes place on a Sunday morning (1130am) with the visiting Medium. There is no charge, but a collection will be taken.
Healing Healing takes place on a Sunday afternoon. No need to book in advance. The healers will add your name to their list on the day. There is no charge, but donations are gratefully accepted.
Private Sittings These also take place on a Sunday afternoon with the visiting Medium. Price: £20 for Church Members £25 for Non-Members

Fundraising
The church will continue to hold fundraising events throughout this year and next. Events will include talks and debates on Spiritualism, demonstrations of Mediumship, music and additional fundraising private sittings once a month on a Friday night.
It should be noted that Mediums, Speakers, etc, participating in fundraising events, take no payment for their services - and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts. We also thank all the volunteers who attend to help, and make our services and events possible.

Funds go towards the running of the church. We would therefore be grateful for any unopened donations from yourselves to make up the lucky bags - such as:

CHURCH TEMPORARILY CLOSED
